Bill Griffin Jr, Staff Consultant for MAYA Consulting, is a passion-driven educator with a heart for servant leadership and a commitment to JEDI principles. As a Black man who, through grace, has been able to overcome the odds and emerge from the same historically marginalized communities that he has committed to serve, Bill understands the cruciality of justice-based outcomes. He draws on his personal journey to drive enduring positive and equitable outcomes for students & educators from all backgrounds. After graduating from Williams College, Bill began his career as a math educator in the Montbello region of Denver, and before moving back to Houston, was the Director of College Access for a school in the Bayview district of San Francisco. Having also been an instructional coach, curriculum designer, and athletic director, Bill brings a diverse range of K-12 experience to the MAYA team.
