What working with us looks like

MAYA’s goal is to offer a market leading total compensation package that allows team members to do their best work while also providing for a robust and full life outside of MAYA.
At MAYA, we believe that a team member’s salary should not be based on the ability to negotiate and that compensation should be transparent. Therefore, MAYA uses a level and step system that coordinates with different salary amounts. Team members work with their supporters on goals and a path to moving higher in our MAYA career framework which yields a high salary. Team members are eligible for business development bonuses and an annual profit sharing bonus. 

Because MAYA does not have a physical office space, you can find MAYA team members working from their homes, coffee shops, or out in nature while using an internet hotspot. MAYA team members primarily collaborate through Zoom, Slack, Asana, and other online tools. On occasion, MAYA team members travel to Austin, Texas, for planning days and throughout the country for client meetings.

MAYA offers and pays for 80% of health insurance premiums for team members and their families. Dental insurance is also offered.

Get a laptop, monitors, and all the accessories for your home office. MAYA also provides a one-time stipend for new home office furniture. Use your company credit card for routine expenses.

Take up to 12 weeks paid parental leave after the birth, adoption, or foster placement of a new child.

MAYA offers unlimited paid time off, generous holiday time (including Juneteenth, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Election Day, one week for Fall break and Spring Break, and about two weeks for Winter Break), and sabbatical leave of 12 weeks after five years of service;

MAYA matches up to 4% of 401K contributions.
