Destiny is an education leader who partners with school and district teams to strengthen instructional systems, build leadership capacity, and accelerate student learning across diverse contexts. With nearly two decades of experience as an educator, leader, and consultant, she works alongside leaders to design high-leverage systems, support effective instructional implementation, and lead adaptive change.
Previously, she served in school leadership roles where she led efforts to strengthen school culture, instructional practice, and student outcomes. Dr. Woodbury has supported districts and schools through instructional improvement initiatives, leadership coaching, and school and district reviews grounded in data-informed decision-making. She helps teams use multiple sources of evidence to diagnose challenges, monitor progress, and adjust strategy in the service of student outcomes.
Dr. Woodbury also serves as an executive coach, supporting superintendents, district leaders, principals, assistant principals, and instructional coaches in clarifying vision, strengthening communication, and navigating complexity with empathy and precision.
She holds a Doctorate in Education from Vanderbilt University, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, and undergraduate degrees in Chemistry (BS and BA) and Secondary Education. Outside of her professional work, she is a proud mom who enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, traveling, and attending major sporting events.
